OCTOBER 7, 2019, BOND VOTE FROM 12 NOON TO 9 P.M. AT WALT WHITMAN HIGH SCHOOL’S NORTH GYMNASIUM (PARKING BEHIND THE CHURCH WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR VOTERS)


BOND REFERENDUM VOTE

Date: Monday, October 7, 2019
Time: 12 Noon – 9:00 PM
Place: Walt Whitman High School – North Gymnasium

VOTER ELIGIBILITY

In order to vote, you must be:

  • a United States citizen
  • 18 years of age or older
  • a resident of the South Huntington School District for at least 30 days prior to the vote

If you have not previously voted in a school district election or budget vote, with proper identification (i.e., driver’s license or bill with resident’s address) you can vote that same day/evening.

ABSENTEE BALLOTS

Residents who cannot vote in person may vote by absentee ballot, if eligible. Absentee ballot applications may be requested from the District Clerk’s office at 631-812-3071 or downloaded here. All applications must be received by Monday, September 30, 2019 if the absentee ballot is to be mailed in. If the ballot is to be personally returned, the deadline for applications is Friday, October 4, 2019.
